A Fat Sunday Worship Service? What's That?
Traditionally the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday is called “Fat Tuesday” (Mardi Gras) and it is a wonderful celebration before the austerity of the season of Lent.
OSLC is holding a “Fat Sunday” Dixieland Jazz Worship Service on Sunday February 26th and there will be only ONE worship service on that Sunday at 10:00 a.m. This ONE worship service will be led by ELO – a Dixieland Jazz band. Worship will be followed by snacks in the Fellowship Hall – our own mini “Mardi Gras”.
